Sea Cadets

We are supporting our safety partners and charity, Sea Cadets, who help young people to develop important life skills. The team at Sea Cadets Royal Docks Boat Station keep our Dock2Dock swimmers safe in the water during the event and monies raised will directly benefit their programs. The Dock2Dock community has already raised over £3,000, some of which has gone toward essential repairs and new equipment.

Our collective fundraising for the Sea Cadets will help enable the next generation of young people to expand their horizons and seafarers gain the qualifications they need to get ahead. When you support the Sea Cadets you’re providing vital education and financial help for the maritime professional of today and you’re helping the next generation of Sea Cadets – 14,000 young people – throughout the UK strive for a brighter future.

This year, £1 from every Dock2Dock entry will be donated to the Sea Cadets.

When you sign up, you’ll also get the chance to match our £1 donation.
