D2D2023 – NOWCA MEMBERSHIP

The Dock2Dock is a NOWCA member only event.  All swimmers must have a current NOWCA membership on the day of the event.  NOWCA membership is £15.00 per year and gives you access to over 40 NOWCA affiliated venues throughout the UK along with discounts on courses and access to other events at NOWCA venues.   

The simplest way to register for NOWCA membership or reactivate an old membership is via the ACTiO app or using the desktop version https://actio.nowca.org/

If you are not yet a NOWCA member:

  1. Download the app or access the desktop version https://actio.nowca.org/
  2. Create a profile by clicking CREATE A PROFILE & choose London Royal Docks as your band collection venue
  3. Once you have completed a full profile (not a parent profile), click PAY MEMBERSHIP FEE & make the annual payment

Please ensure you use the same email for NOWCA registration as you have used for your event entry if you are creating a new account.

It is each swimmers responsibility to check the validity of their membership.  Any participant who doesn’t have a valid membership on the day of the event will not be able to swim.

Swimmers must wear their NOWCA wristband to the event and during the swim.  Your wristband will be scanned when you arrive for event check-in.  If you are a new member, you will need to collect your wristband BEFORE you are able to collect your swim kit & timing chip.  There will be a separate tent for collection of wristbands on race morning.

IMPORTANT:

  • If you have lost your band – you can get a replacement at the event for £3.00.  You do not need to let us or NOWCA know beforehand.
  • If you already have a NOWCA account but can’t remember where you chose to collect your band – YOU CAN COLLECT ONE AT THE EVENT. You do not need to let us or NOWCA know beforehand
  • If your NOWCA membership expires before the 9th September and your account is not set to auto-renew, log in to ACTiO and make payment after the membership expires.
