The 15k distance is a challenging course and entry is strictly by application only. You will not be able to purchase tickets online without first applying.

Tickets are very limited for this event and to ensure your safety, you must meet certain requirements in order to take part in this distance.

Minimum age:

• Must be 16 years old (on the day of the event) to participate.
• 16 year old participants must wear a full wetsuit (no shorties)
• Wetsuits are optional for 17+ year old participants.

15k Auto Entries:

The 15k is the premier event at the Dock2Dock and is open to swimmers who have completed:

• 15k at the Dock2Dock in any previous year.
• 10k at the Dock2Dock in any previous year in under 4.5 hours.

15k Wildcard Entries:

We have a limited amount of wildcard entries available to swimmers who have completed an event/organised challenge of a similar distance in the past 3 years.

Evidence must be provided for your application to be considered, including links to event results or other supporting documentation.

How to apply:

All swimmers wishing to swim in the 15k event should complete and submit an application form to verify entry qualifications.

Once verified, you will receive an invitation to sign up for your chosen event.

You can apply early but you will not receive verification or an invitation until charity/presale tickets are released.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no entry requirements for other distances at the Dock2Dock though all swimmers should have experience in other open water swimming events or training in open water.
