We are supporting our safety partners and charity, Sea Cadets, who help young people to develop important life skills. The team at Sea Cadets London Boat Station keep our Dock2Dock swimmers safe in the water during the event and monies raised will directly benefit their programmes. Last year, the Dock2Dock community raised over £1,200, some of which will go toward essential repairs and new equipment at the Sea Cadets Royal London Boat Station.
This year, we continue our support by offering a limited number of Swim for Sea Cadets tickets at a subsidised entry fee, with a pledge to fundraise a minimum £200.
By fundraising as part of the event, you could help enable the next generation of young people to expand their horizons and seafarers gain the qualifications they need to get ahead. When you support the Sea Cadets you’re providing vital education and financial help for the maritime professional of today and you’re helping the next generation of Sea Cadets – 14,000 young people – throughout the UK strive for a brighter future.

Sea Cadet Experience Day for you and a friend! (prize valued at £100)
You and a friend will experience a day in the life of a sea cadet afloat. This is a bespoke taster day for 2 people to experience getting afloat and seeing what is on offer to a Sea Cadet on the water. The day includes a morning and an afternoon session activity picked from a range of activities including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, windsurfing, rowing and powerboating with your own personal instructor.
Budgy Smuggler Towel! (prize valued at £70)
Budgies like to travel in twos and our friends at Budgy Smuggler will reward you with a £70 gift voucher that will score you 2 of their funky towels.
